Majority of extended health care benefit plans include coverage for Registered Massage Therapy (RMT). You may be able to receive full or partial reimbursement for your treatment costs. For full details of your coverage we recommend you check with your employer. Currently we are set up to directly bill Pacific Blue Cross; however, many other insurance providers now accept online submissions from benefit recipients. You will be provided with a paper copy of your receipt or you can request to have your receipts e-mailed for on-line submissions.

Patients that qualify for Medical Services Plan (MSP) are entitled to 10 visits per calendar year, at a rate of $23.00 per appointment. Patients with MSP are expected to pay a user fee, which would cover the difference in cost of the treatment. MSP can be used towards any combination of Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and a Naturopathic Doctor. In-order for you to qualify for the reduced rate you will need to bring in your CareCard for us to verify.

Please note that due to the backlog at Insurance Corporation of British Columbia we do not directly bill the insurance company; however, we will provide you with a receipt which you can submit for reimbursement either to your adjuster or lawyer.

RCMP and DVA are all billed through Medavie Blue Cross directly by the patient.

*Please note that we currently do not bill WCB directly.

It is important that you let us know ahead of time (minimum 24 hours notice) if you need to change or cancel your appointment. This gives us enough time to arrange for someone else to take that appointment slot. If you are not able to attend your massage therapy appointment the fee is 50% of the treatment cost for the first missed appointment, and the 100% for subsequent missed appointments.

You can cancel your appointment by phone or through our online booking system. If we are unavailable to answer the phone, please leave a voicemail with your name and appointment time. We are a busy clinic and we can usually find someone to fill that time slot if we have enough time to do so. Please keep in mind that it isn’t fair to your Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) or other patients who would be happy to have your appointment time if you are unable use it.

Your RMT visit will include history, assessment, consultation, and manual massage treatment.

We currently accept cash, debit, and credit card (Visa and Mastercard) payments.
